Role

The Marketing Associate will support the execution of strategic marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness, audience engagement, and business growth across both corporate and open innovation programs. This role will assist in managing digital campaigns, content creation, social media management, event coordination, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will be an organized and proactive marketing professional with a passion for innovation, digital marketing, and creative design.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Marketing Strategy & Communication Support
    • Assist in executing the marketing and communication plan for Mantis BI and its open innovation programs.
    • Support the development and management of marketing funnels for customer and participant acquisition and retention.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in marketing performance reporting.
  2. Digital Campaigns, Content Creation & Social Media Management
    • Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook).
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on SEO, PPC, and social media strategies.
    • Create, schedule, and manage engaging content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
    • Monitor and analyze social media performance, making recommendations for optimization.
    • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent messaging and audience engagement.
  3. Event Coordination & Open Innovation Program Support
    • Support the planning and promotion of events, including hackathons, summits, and webinars.
    • Assist in managing communications with startups, partners, and community stakeholders.
    • Execute event marketing strategies to ensure high participation and visibility.
  4. CRM & Email Marketing
    • Maintain and update the company’s CRM system (HubSpot, Salesforce).
    • Assist in designing and sending newsletters and targeted email campaigns.
    • Monitor email engagement metrics and analyze campaign effectiveness.
  5. Performance Analysis & Reporting
    • Collect and analyze data from marketing campaigns, social media, and events.
    • Prepare reports and insights to optimize marketing strategies.
    • Stay up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing, social media, and open innovation.
  6. Presentation & Design Support
    • Create visually compelling presentations using PowerPoint for internal and external communications.
    • Assist in designing marketing materials, including social media graphics, event collateral, and promotional content.
    • Work with basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to enhance branding consistency.

 

Required Qualifications

A) Technical Skills

  • Experience in digital marketing (SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation & CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Ads.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating professional presentations.
  • Basic design skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

B) Industry Knowledge

  • Previous experience in marketing campaigns, content creation, social media management, or event coordination (1-2 years).
  • Understanding of startup ecosystems, innovation programs, and corporate marketing strategies.

C) Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Creativity and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

D) Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or event coordination.
  • Certifications in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot) are a plus.
