Role 

As a Web Designer at Mantis BI, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging, brand-aligned websites and landing pages for our clients and Open Innovation Programs. Your main focus will be on design, layout, and visual storytelling, using pre-built platforms, themes, and templates.

You will play a key role in shaping the look and feel of digital experiences, ensuring that all projects are aesthetically compelling, user-friendly, and aligned with client branding.

You won’t need deep programming skills — creativity, design sensibility, and excellent project management are the key to success in this role.

Responsibilities 

• Visual Website Creation: Design high-quality landing pages and websites using pre-built templates, WordPress, Wix, or similar platforms.

• Customization: Adapt existing templates to align with the specific branding, messaging, and visual identity of each project.

• Graphic Design: Create and edit graphic elements, banners, icons, and visual assets using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.

• Responsive Layouts: Ensure designs look great and work smoothly across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).

• Brand Alignment: Ensure visual consistency across all digital materials, working closely with marketing and content teams.

• Content Integration: Place text, images, videos, and other content into designed templates, making sure the layout stays clean and professional.

• Basic SEO Awareness: Apply simple SEO principles (proper headings, alt-text, keyword placement) during the design process.

• Quality Review: Test and check pages for consistency, responsiveness, and proper appearance across browsers.

• Project Coordination: Manage multiple design projects, handle deadlines, and communicate with internal teams and clients effectively.

• Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with design trends, web aesthetics, and digital storytelling techniques.

Requirements & Qualifications 

A) Hard Skills

• • Proven experience in web and visual design, with a strong portfolio of landing pages, websites, or digital projects.

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or Figma.

  • Good knowledge of platforms like WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace for layout and content management (no coding required).

  • Understanding of responsive web design principles and basic web usability.

  • A good eye for typography, color schemes, and visual hierarchy.

B) Soft Skills

• • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and a flair for digital aesthetics.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple design projects in parallel.

  • Good communication skills to work effectively with marketing, content, and development teams.

  • Proactive attitude toward finding visual solutions and suggesting design improvements.

  • Willingness to learn and evolve within a fast-moving, innovative environment.

C) Preferred Qualifications

• • Basic familiarity with Canva, Webflow, or other visual website builders.

  • Understanding of basic motion design (micro-animations, GIFs) would be a plus.

  • Experience working with branding guidelines and adapting creative assets to different formats.
